Newsletter subscriptions

If you subscribe, we use your email address to send occasional DFIRoscope release and project updates based on your consent. Giving it is optional, but needed to receive the emails. EmailOctopus (Three Hearts Digital Ltd) handles signup and delivery for us. It also handles delivery records and, if enabled, email open and click tracking. Its subprocessors may process data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards in its data processing terms.

We keep your details while you are subscribed. After you unsubscribe, a limited record may remain to prevent further mail. You can withdraw consent through any email’s unsubscribe link or by contacting us; this does not affect earlier processing. You can also ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your data, or complain to your data protection authority.

Bot protection on the signup form

The EmailOctopus signup form uses Google reCAPTCHA to detect automated submissions and protect the mailing list from spam. When you use the form, reCAPTCHA may process information about your browser, device, and interaction with the form for this security check. Google provides the reCAPTCHA service.
